Chalgrove May Day Festival

The Chalgrove May Day Festival returns on Monday 4^th May 2026, and this year it's "May the Fourth be with you!" With a special Star Wars theme, we'll be hosting a fancy-dress competition for both children and adults, so start planning your galactic costumes.

The day kicks off with the Chalgrove 10k run starting at 11:00am, with the festival officially opening at 11:30am. The celebrations will continue through the afternoon and close at 4:00pm.

Expect a fantastic programme of live music, alongside our ever-popular Classic Car Show and Fun Dog Show, featuring favourite categories including Waggiest Tail, Best Trick, Best Sausage Catcher and Best Young Handler. There'll also be a professional children's entertainer and a traditional May Pole dance performed by Chalgrove Primary School.

As always, you'll find plenty of delicious food stalls, community groups, funfair, live music, beer tents and wonderful local craft stands to explore throughout the day.

We're incredibly proud to support our local community, and with any surplus profits we continue to donate to village causes, last year we were delighted to support a number of local organisations within Chalgrove.
